Baden Powell Trail Hike - Gray Rock

Mid to late Saturday morning a couple of friends and I hiked the beautiful Baden Powell Trail located in Deep Cove/North Vancouver.  The trail takes you to a tremendous and beautiful view of Indian Arm and Deep Cove itself.  Looking directly across the water atop the mountain you get a glimpse of the Simon Fraser University campus.  I would say that this is a moderate trail (Edit: rated as easy on the Vancouver Trails website) although we saw young and old alike walking this route but it does have it's ups and downs.  I found my hiking pole to be quite useful.  Bring water, a snack, and/or lunch and sit and enjoy the view.
