Yesterday, I went over to the RV to see for myself what if anything has been going on and walked into a mess so I spent an hour or so cleaning up the mess David and Eugene created in the RV over the last while. Now when they visit the RV they'll be able to use the kitchen counter and sit and relax at the dinette. Imagine a small space, maybe the size of a small walk-in closet full of lumber, tools and other supplies and tons of stuff in plastic bags lying every which way with hardly any room to walk or a place to put anything else.
I organized all of the tools in one box, screws and related items in another and all of the paint and various other sealants, cleaners were put in order inside the closet. The dinette table is clean and so are the bench seats on either side. I was almost overwhelmed with the task of cleaning when I started but the job took less time than I thought and went very well.
Now the RV looks liveable and smells clean and fresh as I wiped down the kitchen cabinet and stove top so they can be used for food preparation or drinks, etc.
Overall, the work on the RV is proceeding slowly but is coming along enough so that I can see that the end results will look great. Of course, my task is the decorating so of course, it will be great--just kidding. But I will enjoy painting and hanging wallpaper so that are new home looks as we want it to and is a reflection of who we are.
