Can't Wait to do this in the RV

The weekend as usual came and left much too fast.  I took care of phone card vending business bright and early on Saturday morning, leaving the house at 5:20AM and returning home just after 9:00AM.  Although the sales are not great I am thankful for what they are as do they do help take care of the expenses I incur as a result of the business so that is a good thing.

After completing the related paper work for my phone card vending stuff I turned to organizing and managing the information on my memory stick.  I added files and photos to the stick so I have more at my disposal when I return to prison from Monday to Friday, a prison most others refer to as "work" or "the job".  For me it is like serving time in prison.  Don't get me wrong here as I do more than appreciate working and receiving the wage I am paid but the work in the office is non-existent as there is not enough business to employ one person let alone two.  Two years of idleness at this job has taken its toll and I am more than ready to move and make a change.

So I am making an effort to pull together all of my work assets so that I am somewhat prepared to take that final leap, cut the strings that tie me to a real and stable job with pretty much a guaranteed wage, and dive into total self-employment.  I am confident that I can make a go of it if I put in the real necessary work to make it happen but nothing will happen as long as I stay tied to the job I suffer through today.

Here are some photos that show what I love to do most - create.

The two wreaths and the wood block tree were all made in the late 90s.  The Christmas Wreath I made for my Mom and the Wood Block Tree I made for my Grandmother and both have been returned to me as Mom and Grandma have both passed on.  The table full of cards and related stuff is in my living room but I have since tidied up and have myself somewhat more organized so I can actually get more work done.

Happily I have a hundred or so cards made and pretty much ready for sale so that is cause for to feel pretty darned good about my efforts.  I have many other designs which to create before they float away from my mind so I need to keep forging ahead in this endeavor.  But I would be so much happier if I was doing it all out of our trusty RV.  I have enough space in the RV to store all my crafting supplies as well everything I need to get along full time in an RV so I am set and ready to go in that area and just waiting on getting the RV roof repaired and a complete mechanical inspection and overhaul done before moving into the RV full time.

If things work out as I am now planning them the roof should be about done in early June and the mechanical stuff complete mid-August so things are looking pretty good for a 2010 departure albeit a slow and careful one close to home in the early days.
