These past couple of weeks have been a sinking in of the reality that yes indeed I/we will be embarking upon an RVing adventure later this year. This has set in firstly with the realization that I cannot continue living the life I am living and remain happy and secondly that my needs to be out on the road outweigh my desire to remain stationary in life and find contentment doing it. I do enjoy living in Vancouver or the lower mainland in general but I so very much need to spread my wings and explore the world beyond this comfort zone I find myself in. I need to go out and experience life on my own and on my own terms.
The RV, our RV, Ms Lucille/Esmeralda is waiting patiently for us and during the next two weeks as my partner and I enjoy visiting and exploring Boston and New York I will set some time aside to plan and organize how I will go about putting the repairs to the RV at the top of my priority list so I can at least feel safe, secure, and confident to take her out on short drives just to keep her moving and prepare her for the long journey ahead.
I am sure I have mentioned it before but the list of work to do on the RV is as follows:
Repair Leaks
Mechanical Inspection and Repairs as needed
Solar Panels and battery bank
Paint and renovate interior
Holding Tank Heaters
More details to follow.
Thanks for stopping by and until next time happy days to you all.
