A while back Eugene and I disconnected the water tank and have since moved it and today I picked up a new flexible hose to attach to the tank itself and the exterior spout used to fill the tank with water.
Oh, maybe we never mentioned this but we removed the dinette table and benches and have a new set up in place a part of which is the relocated water tank. We hit one little snag as the rear dinette bench was covering the rear wheel well and propane line that goes from the propane tank to the stove however I think we came up with a good solution and will be sure to appreciate the storage space we gained from our little project.
The rear bedroom/lounge area looks fantastic at least to us and does the RV ever feel like our home. I've lied down in bed and even sat up in bed and just enjoyed my new home. I really like the space we're creating in our little RV abode and it really does feel like home to us. Just a few more finishing touches and we can call the bedroom complete. For now we're using the old window coverings until we can get some new curtains sewn up to match the new decor.
The dinette is now a desk/craft table and looks good even in its unfinished state. We're working on manufacturing some drawers for one cabinet space and shelving for the other. One this space is more complete we will start to remove some of the junk out of our home so we can get on with the mechanical side of things so the RV is in more reliable shape then we'll be taking her out on the road on occasion along with doing the remodel work inside.
I'm at the point now where leaving the RV is much more difficult to do as I'm really enjoying my time with her. I need a new house battery as the "new" one I purchased a few years ago is completely dead. I might go out and get one next week as it'll be nice to have working lights and a furnace to turn on as the weather is getting a little chilly these days. Heck even a portable generator will be a good investment to make now.
HHhhhmmm. . .
Well I'll be off now. . .dreaming of life on the road. . .
Happy Camping!
