I’m about ready to quit my job and get straight into RVing however what’s holding me back is my fear of the unknown. I know I have talents I can take on the road with me that should help me eke out a living while traveling to who knows where but I hardly have enough money to get started. I have to get the RV ready to go first and then hope for the best financially but the more I read the RV blogs out there the more I know that this is the lifestyle for me.
I’m almost debt free and certainly feel ready for the challenge but, there is that one little hiccup, “but”, “but what?” is what I should be saying to myself. I guess I just need a little bit of a pep talk from some of the more than successful RVers out there who were once in the same predicament as I find myself in today and all of them have made it, hiccups and all.
I figure I need a couple of weeks to get the RV ready to go, maybe even a month is better and then off I can go or so that is how my thinking goes. This is certainly a scary decision to be making but I have faith that I can do it but just need some encouragement from some understanding and like-minded individuals to help me be just a tad bit more comfortable to make this leap of faith and find the trust in myself needed to make this a successful as it can be.
One area of concern is working on the road as I sell crafts and want to do a little amateur ventriloquism on the side as well but doing so in the United States is a no-no as far as I understand and this where I really want to travel to during my first days and weeks on the road or I guess I can just meander around Canada for awhile and see what I can make of life on the road is this country first.
Does anyone have a large garage or shop I can use for a month or so?
Would be nice to work on my RV in a dry, well lit, and electrified environment. Need to do a bit of remodelling and make a few repairs before I hit the road!
Thanks for listening, it really helped me out!
