Keeping Busy

I'm keeping myself busy these days by making cards and other crafty items to sell as well as writing up plans and goals to achieve to not only get myself on the road but to keep myself there too!

The weather has finally realized that it is summer and we are in for a bit of a hot streak.  Not sure how long it will last but I am not really looking forward to it because the condo tends to be 5-10 degrees hotter than the temperature outside.  If it is anything like last year we will not be spending too much time indoors during the evening as it is unbearable.  Last year we stayed out most evenings until 10pm to avoid suffering from heat exhaustion by being indoors which is kind of ridiculous but you do what you have to do.  This year we will see if we can survive as we bought an air conditioner on pretty much the last day of heat wave so hopefully we can stay indoors once in awhile.  Although going to the beach is quite nice so we will definitely have to check it out this year now that the weather is tending toward being too hot.

So as I mentioned I am doing what I can to prepare myself for life in the RV.  I am making time and the effort to make cards and other crafty items to sell while out on the road so that I am in a position to at least support myself in some way during my travels since winning the lottery is proving to be a slow process at the moment.  I am also trying to line up things I need to pack and store everything I intend to bring with me within reason of course.  I want to be ready to just go when the mood strikes and I must say that that mood is fast approaching if it is not here all ready!

During the night I often dream about my RV travels as well as making cards while in the RV and how I am surviving on the road.  My daydreams also often involve RV travel and taking in the beautiful surroundings I find myself in from day to day.  I've seen myself deep in the forest as well as temporarily settled in a parking lot somewhere and selling cards out the door of the RV.


Selling cards in a parking lot sounds kind of weird but it happens because of the unique advertising I have on all sides of the RV.  The advertising is both unique and tasteful and draws a lot of attention wherever I go.  Do I have any idea of what the ads look like at the moment?  Not a clue!  Although, I do believe that Edith and Eugene's photos appear somewhere on the RV as well as their blog address and then Odds n Ends Scraps & Crafts also appears somewhere on the RV.  So nice to dream up these ideas and now I need to execute them.


So this is where I am for the moment, getting ready and making plans to live and survive in an RV while driving down the road.
