Stumbling Along

As I stumbled through the weekend I wanted nothing more than to be in the RV.  My RV, Ms Lucille/Esmeralda is what I consider to be my home these days.  Each time I visit the RV I never want to leave instead my desire is to get behind the wheel and drive to a new destination, not really sure where to go but just realizing that it is enough to just get behind the wheel and drive.

Yesterday was a lazy day and as I mostly sat on the sofa wasting the day away I got to thinking about my storage needs in the RV and where I might find a home in the RV for all of my possessions.  With transforming the bed-over-cab area into storage, I should have enough room to bring most of my stuff with me as long as it does not put the RV beyond her carrying capacity.  If I wrote the numbers down correctly and used the correct mathematical equation with the correct numbers I should be able to add almost 1000kg of my "crap" to the RV.  Of course, before going all out crazy like that I will follow the advice of most RV experts and weigh the RV first.

I do have a lot of "crap" to bring with me and I should not expect to be able to do just that and some of it will most likely have to be left behind.  But you know in the end it will probably not make much difference because I have so much other "stuff" in storage now that in all likelihood I should give it away or add it to the landfill.  Really, if its in a box how valuable can it really be?

So with Edith's help I have come up with at least some idea of where things should go in the RV so as we continue to whittle away at things that need to be done to get us in the RV we are happy as it means we are just that much closer to living our dreams of living full time in an RV as we travel around the continent and how sweet it is to realize how close our dream is to becoming a reality.
