Another Weekend Come and Gone

Weekends always come and go so fast when you are having fun, don't they?

All in all I am quite pleased with my weekend.  Although we did not do all that much I felt like I accomplished a lot.

On Saturday afternoon, we had friends over for a late lunch/early dinner and I must say that I rather enjoyed our visit.  I'm usually a little apprehensive about having friends over for dinner because I like to do my own thing more often than not but this day proved to me that I can still enjoy my weekend even though I do not have a lot of time to myself.  On Sunday afternoon, my brother came over to do his taxes as I buy an update for a tax program every year and invite family and friends over to do their own taxes as it has space for up to 20 different people.  I use it because of the my small home-based business I operate.  We went out for dinner at a fish and chips place a few blocks away.

But I did accomplish a lot of mental thoughts, processes, and decisions and that makes me feel great.  I am more confident and courageous to embark upon the necessary repairs to the RV than I was just a few short days ago.  I was anxious, nervous, apprehensive, and unsure of my ability to do any of it but today I feel ready to tackle it all head on.  I will definitely bring her in for a mechanical inspection and all repairs necessary and then I will go about tackling everything else on my own.

Reading the many books and magazines I have about RVing and of course the many RV related blogs I have really built up the confidence I was lacking and needed to go ahead on this, my very own RVing expedition.

I know what is needed to repair the roof and stop the leaks that are making their way into the RV and I also understand better how to go about building a battery bank and solar panel array necessary to keep it alive and well.  I have a list of products and prices that I will use to make my purchases and then I go from there.

I am now even more excited and wanting to get the RV up and running so I can drive her wherever.  This is such a great feeling.  I can hardly wait to get started.  I know I am ready to do this and so I shall request a small favour from the powers that be to throw a few more dollars my way so I quit my job and move on to transitioning myself to full time self-employment as well as fixing the RV for my very own RVing expedition around North America.

I give my thanks for what I have and know that all things will come into their own at the right time and in the right moment for me.

Thank you and until next time. . .
