Our RV Does Not Like All This Rain

Happy New Year and all the best to you all out there!

All of this rain is making our little RV one sad RV as she has a couple of new leaks and this even with a tarp without holes (as far as we know) covering her.

The weather is supposed to clear over the next five or so days so David and I plan to take next Tuesday off so we can go take a better look at the RV and hopefully plug these new leaks wherever they are coming from.  Unfortunately, David's last visit could only be a quick one so he could not take a good hard look at what may be happening with the tarp that is supposed to be keeping our RV dry.  If it is not too cold we might try and apply the tape we picked up last summer but failed to apply to the RV when we really had the best chance to do so.  One good thing is that David thinks the leak he saw is a new one as there was no water pooling around below it so hopefully we can give a good repair and leave it at that.

We may at some point pull down a part of the ceiling in the bed-over-cab area to see what is going on.

As we mentioned before we will also try and book an appointment for a mobile RV service company to come and take a look at an execute some repairs and maintenance work on our old, little RV so as we can go about hitting the road at some point this year, the sooner the better, as we are getting a little impatient waiting for it all to happen.  But we have a little patience left so we'll wait until it does happen without too much worry or anxiety getting in the way.

2011 is definitely the year of RVing as the RVing bug feels like it is flowing through our veins today.  HHhhmmm. . .
