My Day Job Is Has Officially Come to an End

After a couple of hours of waiting this morning for the final clean-out at the office where I used to work my job of the past four years has come to an end.

Starting tomorrow Edith, Eugene, and I will be spending as much time as we can wrapping up the interior remodeling of our RV before calling in the mechanics to give her a once over.  We will do our best to do this in between my searching for a new job, not that I really want to work for someone else but earning a paycheque is still something I think I need to or at least should do.

Over the past month quite of a bit of work has been completed.  Actually, it is a lot more than we thought we could do working in between my hours spent at the office.  The bedroom/lounge area has come together quite well and is near completion.  The back window will be removed on Wednesday so that I can seal up the opening with Flex Seal before re-installing the window.  Edith will finish painting and wallpapering the bedside cabinet and under-bed storage box while Eugene cleans out the bed-over-cab area so we can get to work on fixing that area up as well.

2012 is quickly coming to a close so we need to get a move on if this is to be the year we get out on the road.  2010 was our first Year of RVing, 2012 the second and perhaps 2013, the start of the third.  It is mighty difficult to make changes when one tries to do it under the radar and without anyone else's knowledge.

More to come so please come by again and check out our blog.

Thanks for reading,

David
