Where did the time go?

Happy New Year and Happy New Decade!

Yes, a new decade is upon us.

How could it be January 5th already? Where did time go? Our last post was November 30th!

We had a busy December trying to juggle all of the dinner and party invitations we received throughout the month as well as send out greeting cards and contact family and friends near and far. Then on the 27th David spent a week in London, Ontario visiting his in-laws. Eugene and I stayed put not wanting to get too wrapped up in the holiday madness that seems to fill every holiday season.

The RV is surviving albeit a bit soaked. David and Eugene discovered water inside the RV even though she was covered with a tarp. But it is their guess that the tarp partially blew off the RV in the windy and rainy weather before being re-secured by a kind stranger as the tarp was tied down near the rear of the RV with rope and not the bungee cords David had fastened there back in August.

Can you believe that was there first visit to the RV since August. David is hoping for some better weather even though we are in the middle of winter so that he can visit the RV again and perhaps apply some tape and sealant over the roof near the front and rear of the RV where it is likely water has been penetrating the RV since August whenever it rained. Also, he would like to start her up and also make an appointment for the some mobile RV service techs to come and take a look at her and freshen her up so she can hit the road this year.

2011 is the year we break free and hit the road and head wherever the road(s) will take us. 2011, the year of RVing!
