Many an RVer undertakes repairs to his RV

We have been encouraged by the number of RV repairs we have seen or heard of taking place now and in the past and surely in the future. David has an uncle for instance who owns a much older RV than his and is constantly making repairs to that old beat up RV so we have no worries that we have repairs to make as well.

While watching a television show about food one of the roadside vendors featured refitted an older RV so she could sell her take on pulled pork sandwiches and other foodstuffs from an RV. The many blogs we read have had stories also relating to retrofits and repairs, heck one lady even retrofitted a brand new trailer just taken off the lot.

Older RV's are not necessarily a bad investment and if a majority of the RV is in good shape then repairs can make sense and that is the case with ours. Back in 2004 she had a rebuilt engine installed and probably around the same time some work was done to her body as well such as the bed-over-cab area and the lower driver's side wall as we may have mentioned before.

Sooner, rather than later we will be undertaking our own repairs to our RV and we will strive to keep you posted and up-to-date both in words and pictures so please stay tuned and we'll keep in touch often.
