More Ramblings. . .

A couple of mornings ago as I opened the patio door to go out and enjoy the fresh morning air an image came to mind of me standing in the doorway of the RV enjoying the misty rainy morning and the freshness of the air that welcomed me to a new day as the misty rain gently caressed Ms Lucille/Esmeralda, our trusty RV.

The morning and the day is endlessly beautiful as time slowly ticks by and the day unfolds as it always does and as it always should.  Life moves forward bringing ever closer to my goal of living and traveling in an RV, a 20 plus year dream in the making.  How beautiful it is. . .

I have decided that instead of spending a ton of money on the RV to get solar panels installed and be energy independent I will take another route and just get a new house battery and a small portable generator to provide me with the extra power I may need here and there in the interim until I at least get my feet wet and adapt to the RVing lifestyle.  Yes, I am certain that I will like it and love it but I must be frugal with my finances when just setting out so I do not break the bank and spend beyond my means ever before I get started.

Fixing the leaks and getting her mechanically ready are my biggest priorities and once these are complete I will take a few shake down trips to prepare myself for a life on the road.  I need a security blanket so-to-speak and so I will keep ties to the stick and brick lifestyle until such a time as I am ready to totally break free and move on to living permanently on the road.  I still have a few possessions to get rid of and few loose ends to tie up before I break that connection and security of having a solid and stable roof over my head.

Life is indeed as beautiful as the day, rain and all. . .

Customer Reviews:

By Galen Dukes from Auburndale, FL: Great unit.  Well built, easy to start if you follow the instructions. Very fuel efficient, and powers my air conditioner and other systems just fine. Slightly larger than the Honda model, but I think it is overall better. DC can not be used to charge battery, be aware of that. I'm very happy with it.

By Anonymous: I have this generator and I will tell you this is a great little unit. I have had mine for 2 months now and have used it 6 times without any problems at all. It is about 2 db louder than a Honda but still very quiet. It does weight about 8 pounds more that the Honda.

The buds on the trees since sprouting into leaves, grow a little more each day, showing Nature at her finest.  Below that on the large plate that we like to call a lawn, birds - robins, crows, and others I do not know the names of scratch for food seemingly successful with each peck.  A beautiful site indeed and just outside the office door.

Believe or not I can actually notice the leaves growing each day, just a little large than the day before.  Nature is a fine artist indeed with successful brush stroke after successful brush stroke.  Daffodils have bloomed, tulips are now adding colour to our world as are the dandelions with their rich bright yellow flowers even their fluffy cloud like seeds that replace the beautiful yellow flowers as the plants give birth to the soon to be offspring.

Life is beautiful. . .
