Musings in a Meadow

As I was riding the train to work today watching the landscape go by my mind was taken to an image of a meadow as the spring rain was falling and a fine misty fog filled the sweet aroma of a new day dawning.  I was sitting in the RV working on a few cards and a bit of spool-knitting with a hot cup of coffee close at hand.

The scene was perfect and I saw myself enjoying the day in the meadow and retiring to the comfort of the RV as dusk approached and back there in the RV I sat ending the day the same way as it began - working on cards and spool-knitting enjoying a hot cup of sleepy time tea just before bedtime.

How very refreshing and relaxing it was to envisage such a scene on a day where going to work felt like and is such a waste of my valuable time.  Don't get me wrong I appreciate the job and the income I earn but I could be more productive and relaxed at home.  More than likely I could if I gave it a good try make just as much money by making and selling cards, spool-knit toques as well as do a few tarot card readings here and there.  Anyway I will plug away at work and work on my cards there as much as I can while trying to get as much of the same work done at home in the evenings.  I really must keep the TV off and work on my future for it will soon be upon us and I will be nowhere near ready to depart.

Things to do so I must bid you good day. . .
