Missing Boston and New York

Good Day Folks!

My partner and I have been back from our two week adventure to Boston and New York for a week now and boy do I miss being in those cities.  If you have visited either of these cities you know what they are like and if you have not visited either I recommend that you do.

Boston is a very warm, inviting, and livable city.  We found the people on the street to be very friendly and welcoming as on more than one occasion we received a friendly "hello" and or smile from passers-by.  I love the history and small town feel of Boston and would consider moving there if an opportunity to do so presented itself.

New York is New York.  When we arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon I was overwhelmed by the crowd(s) in Times Square.  Wow!  So many people and what vibrant city is New York.  The city is full of life and energy and does indeed never sleep.  The subway has a certain mystique to it that I yet have to explain but I found myself almost feeling at home while waiting for or riding on the subway.  Seeing the Statue of Liberty brought tears to my eyes and was a very moving experience.  Being in New York felt a little bit like returning home.

We both had fun and look forward to return visits to both of these fantastic cities.

I encourage you to visit them if you ever can make it happen.
