The rain has not let up for the past 24 hours although the weather forecast is for it to end abruptly today around noon or so they say. The weather is great none-the-less. I love the mild weather even if it is a bit wet. The local mountains are losing all the snow that fell in December. One local mountain lost over a metre of snow and they were saying that the snow was melting at a rate of 1 centimetre every couple of hours. On top of that many trees are starting to pollinate and last week I saw a group of robins searching for food outside the office door. Spring may have already arrived.
I have many ideas running through my mind as to how my/our RV adventure will unfold. I see myself traveling all over North America with Edith and Eugene in tow. Edith and Eugene are still holed up in the cardboard box they arrived in last March/April. They will make an appearance soon, I promise.
For those of you out there that may not know who Edith and Eugene are I will tell you that they are my puppets that I ordered from Axtell Expressions last year. I have been working on and practising my ventriloquial skills off and on for over a year now and thankfully I have not lost the skill I have but at the same time it has not improved much either. Edith and Eugene are the true force behind this blog and as soon as our adventure begins you will be reading their comments right here in this blog.
The rain is letting up some and the day is getting a might brighter too!
Until next time. . .
