I am enjoying my favourite blogs so much so that I am almost caught up to the present in reading them. George’s blog is encouraging me to visit Mexico while Brian’s blog is encouraging me to tackle my own RV renovations.
Back on January 4th I did a bit more research on flooring options and came across a type and colour of flooring I really like. This came to my mind after walking by a hair salon that had a similar type of flooring laid down in their establishment. The flooring I like is available at Home Depot and is Vintage White Pine, Pergo Prestige. For me it looks great and will keep the interior of the RV light and airy as I have also decided to paint or wallpaper the walls as there is far too much wood finish for me to really like and appreciate it.
Although, I am not a big fan of white or neutral colours on walls I may need to go that route in the RV in order to keep it new and fresh looking. The colour scheme I picked out a while ago seems to still be a winner so I will most likely stick with or at least that is the plan for now. This scheme will put cottage white on the walls and then Egyptian Nile, Chianti, and Rejuvenate as the trim and accessory colours. These are similar to dark green, burgundy, and light green in that order.
